Dept. of Mathematics

  • Department of Mathematics of the Alipurduar University started functioning since the year 2020, but began its academic journey by offering Master of Science (M.Sc.) courses from the year 2021 onwards.

  • From the year 2025, the department is going to offer Four-year Undergraduate Program under NEP.

  • Presently, the department has four regular faculty members and one SACT faculty member and all of them are deeply engaged in both teaching and research.

  • The department has a Computer Laboratory & library in addition to the central library of the University.

  • Regular seminars, workshops, and guest lectures are arranged to boost the academic vibration.

  • Student performance is continuously monitored and assessed through class tests, assignments, and end-semester examinations to ensure academic excellence.
