The Department of Economics at Alipurduar College has been a part of Alipurduar University since 2021. The Department offers B. A Honours and General Degree at the UG Level as well as M.A. in Economics Degree at the PG Level. The objective of the Department is to provide students with a strong foundation in economic theory and analytical skills. The students are provided with study materials and other resources at no cost. The Department has produced a number of renowned scholars who are working as Vice Chancellors, Principals, Professors and Administrative Officers in different parts of the country and abroad.
